1 cup rice
2 ts oil
1 ts ghee
1 ts mustard
1/4 ts hing
Few curry leaves
Salt as per need
Pre-step
Boil one cup rice with enough salt and water
Preparation
- Take a kadai and add oil. Once its hot add mustard, hing and curry leaves.
- Add the boiled rice. Mix well so that all flavours get incorporated well.
- Add a dollop of ghee and mix again.
Tit-Bits
Adding too much of mustard may add a bitter taste to the rice. Not more than a teaspoon is required.
This is a very simple preparation but its very flavourful and nice. Serve it with any chutney of your choice.
