Flavour-packed pudina puri ideal for lunch box or as a quick evening snack with hot chai.
The spicy and minty flavoured puri goes well with any sweet jam as a side.
If you are in no mood for deep frying, as a variation to deep-fried puri, this spicy minty dough can also be prepared as a layered paratha.
Ingredients
2 cup wheat flour
Oil for deep frying
Spice mixture
1 cup loosely packed mint leaves (finely chopped)
1 ts jeera
1 ts ginger garlic green chilli paste
1/4 ts turmeric powder, 1/2 ts coriander powder, 1/2 ts cumin powder, 1/4 ts kitchen king/ garam masala
Salt as required
Preparation
Mix all the spice ingredients mentioned above with wheat flour, except oil, into a thick and smooth dough.
Make the required number of small dough balls, roll them flat into small thick rounds and deep fry in hot oil.
