Cream Cheese pasta

SUPER QUICK vegetable pasta with cream cheese. Cream cheese is my recent attraction. It is the magic ingredient(!) which substitutes making of white sauce and adding loads of cheese.

Together with fresh garlic bread, makes a yummy light and satisfying lunch or dinner. A kids favourite!

Ingredients
1 small sized onion (finely chopped)
1 garlic clove (grated)
2 tbs (kraft) cheddar cream cheese
3/4 cup milk
1 cup chopped vegetables (carrot, peas, sweet corn, capsicum)
1 cup pasta
1/4 ts mixed herbs
1/2 ts chilli flakes
One butter cube

Preparation

Cook pasta according to packet instructions.

Heat butter in a pan. Add chopped onion and grated garlic. Toss for a minute. Add all the chopped vegetables. Add needed salt. Toss and cook in high flame for 2-3 minutes. Add cream cheese. Mix well until they melt and distribute evenly. Slowly add milk and keep mixing gently with the other hand. Adjust quantity of milk depending on the consistency you desire. Add mixed herbs, chilli flakes and needed salt. Be careful in addition of salt as cream cheese is salty enough. Add cooked pasta. Mix evenly and toss for a minute.

The consistency thickens after it cools down. Can add extra warm milk later to bring up to desired consistency.
