This is a simple to make tasty home style brinjal pepper fry. Tastes very good with sambar.

Ingredients
10 small brinjals ( cut thin and long)
1 big onion ( finely chopped)
1 ts freshly grated ginger garlic
1 tbs freshly pound pepper jeera
1/3 cup thick coconut milk
1 tbs sesame oil
Few curry leaves

Preparation

Heat oil in a kadai. Add chopped onions and fry until they turn translucent. Add ginger and garlic and  sauté for few minutes. Add curry leaves and allow to splutter. Now add the cut brinjals with necessary salt. Sauté in high flame for a minute. Now cook uncovered in simmer until the brinjals get cooked. When the brinjals are half done add the pepper jeera powder. Continue cooking. When they are 3/4th done add thick coconut milk. Mix well and cook in low flame until brinjals look dry.
