Having coriander leaves juice in the morning is ideal for detoxification.

Coriander is very popular in India for its anti-inflammatory properties. And fresh coriander leaves are a rich source of carotenoids. Apart from its normal use in cooking, regular intake of its juice brings a glow to your skin, face and hair.

When you have bunches of coriander leaves in your pantry, this is the thing to do. When I first tried it, I was skeptical about its taste but mixed with lemon juice it was quite good. But does taste matter when it is loaded with a whole lot of health benefits.

Ingredients
A small bunch of coriander leaves
Handful of mint (optional)
A cup of water
Squeeze of one small lemon
Salt as per need

Preparation

Bring a cup of water to a boil. Add the finely chopped coriander and mint leaves. Switch off the flame and let the leaves sit in hot water for a minute. This step makes the leaves dark and also gets rids of the raw smell of the leaves.

Drain the water in a pitcher.

Put the drained leaves in a blender. Add little water if needed. Blend them to a smooth paste.

Strain out the juice from the blended mix with the help of a strainer into the pitcher.

Now dilute the juice as per your need. Add lemon juice and salt. Mix well.

Store them in the fridge. Or serve them chill with ice cubes.
